Qualifying Test

Anyone wishing to be an officer in the Air Force must first pass the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT). This test is similar to the SAT (multiple choice) and covers topics ranging from verbal and math skills to pilot and navigation aptitude for those interested in those fields. This test can only be taken twice, so it’s a good idea to study and prepare using both websites and books you’ll find online.
