Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE)
Service, maintain and repair aircraft ground support equipment.
In Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) you’ll learn everything from electronics and hydraulics to power generation and gas turbine engines. You’ll be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting and repairing the equipment ground crews use to maintain and service aircraft. Most of your training will be hands-on with actual equipment, and you’ll continue learning with on-the-job training after you graduate. Instructors guide you along the way to ensure you learn the material. Once you’ve finished tech school, you’ll be assigned to your first duty station, which could be stateside or overseas. After all, wherever the Air Force has aircraft, it also has AGE technicians.
